Southwest Baptist University will host its third annual Fast Forward Days Monday, March 29 and Monday, April 5. The goal of Fast Forward is to introduce high school juniors to the school.

"It is a great idea to explore options during the junior year of high school," SBU Director of Admissions Rob Harris said.

Beginning at 9 a.m. and wrapping up around 2:30 p.m., Fast Forward is an information-packed day, geared towards college-searching high school juniors. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. in the Goodson Student Union, followed by an opening information session at 9 a.m. in the Geneva Casebolt Center for Fine Arts. The rest of the day will include a chapel service in Mabee Chapel, academic insight from SBU President Dr. C. Pat Taylor in the McClelland Dining Facility, lunch at Mellers Dining Commons and a closing session. Toward the end of each afternoon, prospective students will have the opportunity to meet with professors in their academic area of interest and tour the campus.

Although lodging is not a scheduled part of Fast Forward, as it was for Bearcat Days, it is available for those in need. Most students will not stay overnight, however, as the majority are not traveling long distances.

"Invitations were sent to all high school juniors on our database," Harris said. "Past attendance indicates that the majority of students participating live within 100 miles."
