Wheeler named All-American for second consecutive year

Wheeler was also named to the MIAA First Team, the Sonic / MIAA All-Tournament team, and was MIAA Player of the Week once. While playing in the St. Mary's Classic in San Antonio over Christmas Break, she was named to the All-Classic team for her performances.
On the academic side, Wheeler was named the 2003-04 MIAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and was also on the Academic All-MIAA team as a freshman.
For the 2003-04 season, Wheeler finished second in the MIAA scoring at 17 points per game, just 0.4 ppg behind Danielle McKinley of Missouri Western. Wheeler was first in three-point field goals made (2.64 pg), fourth in free throw percentage (.823), sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.368), seventh in 2. field goal percentage (.391), and eighth in steals (1.79 pg).
