As The Woman is Required to Pay week comes to an end, Southwest Baptist University boys are encouraged to plan a special date for that special someone during TWEET week.
Beginning Feb. 12, TWEET (The Women Expect Equal Treatment) week gives guys on campus a chance to treat a lady to an unforgettable date.
Whether it is an old flame, a new love or a secret someone, participants and their dates will have an opportunity to enter the best date contest in one of four categories, giving them the chance to win a $25 prize.
To enter the contest, SBU men must fill out an entry form located outside the Student Government Association office in Goodson Student Union. Forms will be available Monday, Feb. 12 and must be submitted by Friday, Feb. 16 for consideration.
Men must fill out the date and time of the TWEET date, where the date took place and the pick up line they used to ask the lucky lady. The date must also fall under one of four categories: most adventurous, cheapest, craziest and most romantic.
From camping trips and picnics, to a double date with the parents, students are encouraged to be creative during the week.
