Dear Editor,
I want to personally address the students of Southwest Baptist University as a follow up to a Feb. 2 Omnibus article by Ian Nix. This article was very well written, and I commend Ian for doing so.
We want to see students act on their ideas and / or concerns about SBU by coming to Student Government Association. We are here to serve the students and if that means we are researching your ideas, let that be known.
You are the university and your voice does hold power. SGA is put in place to help each student voice their ideas to the administration. Please drop by our office or stop in one of our Monday night meetings at 6 p.m. in Davis Theatre. We would love to chat with you regarding issues you see on campus or even an activity idea you might have.
To quote Ian, "If you are angry at policies, don't let it end there." We are here to serve you; help us do just that.
