SBU to host Financial Aid Awareness Days

The Southwest Baptist University Financial Aid office will host the fourth annual Financial Aid Awareness Days Feb. 21 and 22.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 21 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 22, students will have the opportunity to visit representatives from the financial aid office in Goodson Student Union.
"Representatives will be available to answer questions about financial aid and remind [students] to reapply for next year's financial aid," said Brad Gamble, director of financial aid.
Students in attendance will be able to sign up to win prizes donated by various lenders. Prizes to be given away include duffle bags, thermoses, clocks, portfolios, blankets and gift cards. There will also be a number of free school supplies and other things handed out to students visiting the financial aid table.
SBU recommends that students complete the application process for the 2007-08 academic year by March 15.
