Southwest Baptist University's TWIRP week proved that women really do not mind paying on a date.
Contest entries from TWIRP (The Woman is Required to Pay) week held February 5-9 showed the men had some of the most delightful times of their lives-at the women's expense.
A $25 prize was awarded to winners in the categories of most adventurous, romantic, craziest and cheapest date. The contestants creatively embarked on activities that ranged from hiking at Ha Ha Tonka to a tuxedo and dress event that started at Norma's and ended at a favorite lovers spot, the underwater bridge.

The winners of the 2007 TWIRP week are as follows:
Most Adventurous Date: freshman Christine Flippin and sophomore Michael Pierce

Most Romantic Date: senior Jesse Neal and SBU graduate Tim Scego

Craziest date: freshmen Josh Gray, Matt Hamm, Brad Vyers and Kevin Polo, freshmen Elizabeth Wiens, Hannah Utley, Jenny Dieckemper and senior Sara Mayberry,.

"[My favorite part of the night was] salsa dancing at Step by Step. We had a multi-step date in which we made clues before each stop on our date and made the boys guess, and we also played sardines at Bass Pro," said Mayberry.
"It was really special to spend the day with [Flippin], walking around and looking at nature-it was amazing," said Pierce.
