Courtwarming King to be crowned Saturday

Five Southwest Baptist seniors were nominated by their peers for this year's Courtwarming King election held Wednesday, Feb. 21 in Goodson Student Union.
Skyler Powers, Lonnie Batson, Jaben Houk, Matt Overturf and David Olson were all listed on the Student Government Association's Courtwarming election ballots for SBU students to vote for one of the five.
The highest vote getter will be crowned Courtwarming King 2007 during a special halftime reception at the Saturday, Feb. 24 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association men's basketball game between the Southwest Baptist Bearcats and the Emporia State University Hornets. Tipoff for the game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Hammons Court at the Meyer Wellness and Sports Center.
Courtwarming princes include freshman Michael McCampbell, sophomore Tyler Sammons and junior Jimmy Faseler.
SBU graduate Craig Wright, now an admissions counselor at the University, is the reigning 2006 Courtwarming King.
