Bryant named to NCAA Division II selection committee

Applying that formula to his own teams, Bryant believes the Bearcats and Lady Bearcats will be among the top teams in the MIAA, which should garner national tournament spots for both in the North Central Region.
"The men have a good shot at winning the conference this year, which should get us a top ranking in the region," said Bryant. "The women will also be competitive in the conference and should secure a spot in the Region as well."
After a two-week layoff, the SBU men and women will return to action Friday, March 2 in Oklahoma. The 'Cats will travel to Lawton to play East Central State at 9 a.m. and St. Mary's at 2 p.m. before facing nationally-ranked host Cameron (18th) at 9 a.m. Saturday. The first home meet for the men will be a 2 p.m. Friday, March 9 meeting with nationally-ranked Ouachita Baptist (5th) at the Bryant Tennis Center.
Traveling to Tahlequah, the Lady 'Cats will play March 2 meets against Arkansas Tech at noon and Southeastern State at 2:30 p.m. before playing Northeastern State at 8 a.m. and East Central State at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Lady 'Cats will play their first home meet March 14 when they host Johnson County Community College at 3 p.m.
