The Southwest Baptist University Student Government Association is planning activities and elections to rid students of spring fever.
At 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 in Goodson Student Union, SGA will host a 1 vs. 100 style game show with student and faculty participants.
"Participants will be chosen through a drawing, and one person be asked a question, and will compete against a mob of people who will be asked the same question," said Student Activities Chair Jarrod Kingston.
Executive cabinet elections will be held Wednesday, April 11 for the 2007-08 school year. Open positions include student body president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. Petitions including 50 signatures from SBU students must be turned in Monday, April 9.
To run for student body president and vice president, the candidate must have a 2.75 GPA and have completed 44 credit hours.
Students running for secretary and treasurer need only 12 completed credit hours and a 2.75 GPA.
Class officer elections will be Wednesday, April 18. A petition with 50 signatures must be returned by the candidate to the Student Government office by Monday, April 16.
