Smith will serve as the chair of the education committe. In this committee, Smith and other board members will start a new character education program in the fall in Bolivar schools.
Smith will also serve on a committee designed to welcome new teachers to the Bolivar school district.
Smith will serve on the seminars committee to design policies and programs on how to grow Bolivar's business.
As a board member, Smith will discuss with other representatives what businesses should be brought to Bolivar and attend monthly planning meetings.
