In a week full of make-up games, Southwest Baptist baseball responded with two series splits and a wild come-from-behind win. Tuesday's 12-11 win over Missouri Southern was nothing but ordinary for the Bearcats. Game one had seen the Bearcats being able to only scratch out one hit in a 4-0 loss.

Qualifying for nationals is a big deal. Hundreds of track and field athletes attempt to qualify for nationals every year and only a minute percentage of those athletes are able to qualify in their specialty event. This is why it is so amazing to have an athlete who is a two-time All-American in the mile qualify for nationals in two events … neither of which is the 1,500 (outdoor track's equivalent to the mile).

A .500 record and a top eight regional ranking - that's all the Southwest Baptist women's tennis team needs to get into the 2007 NCAA Division II National Tennis Championships (NTC). With a season record of 10-9 and number eight ranking in the North Central Region, Head Coach John Bryant says he is cautiously optimistic about the team's chances.
It was sixth place finish in a six-team meet for the Southwest Baptist golf team. Competing on a par-72 course at the Concordia Spring Invitational in Lake City, Minn., the Bearcats shot a two-day 331 team score that left them in sixth place, just two strokes behind fifth place host Concordia-St.

The "Beasley Sweetheart Pageant", a tradition since 2003, has entertained students and given the ladies of Beasley Hall a chance to shine. Each floor nominates four women, two from each wing; to compete for the honor of Beasley Queen.
