Classic rock band John Holiday took the stage after Reeves in another severe genre adjustment. Never have I seen a band that commanded a crowd's attention like John Holiday did, nor have I seen a band with so much energy at their level of musical skill.
John Holiday is made up of freshman power guitarist Joe Moore, juniors lead singer Jimmy Faseler, rhythm guitarist Zach Henderson and bassist John Moore, SBU graduate and lead guitarist Matt Richards and former student Joe Terranella on drums. Together, these six highly talented musicians put on one of the best live shows this critic has ever seen.
Closing the night was the 2006 Best Band in Kansas City, Give Me Sound. The only SBU student in this rock / funk / blues band is Wilkins.
Give Me Sound put on a show equivalent to that of John Holiday, however with slightly less crowd participation. Although the crowd was more relaxed than they were in the previous set, it was more of the mood that Give Me Sound likes to operate with, given their laid back sound.
All in all, the entire day was more than just a fun time. EMU Fest was a celebration of life and music. Those who thought they had a good excuse to miss EMU Fest should be kicking themselves right now for missing an incredible day of music.

Glad the EMU Fest went off well, but I just have to say: "To Write Love On Her Arms" has to be the worst name for the title of ANYTHING I have ever heard in my life, and TWLOHA is possibly the least memorable acronym in the history of mankind. (Continued…)

I just want to say that the front page picture is the cutest thing. Especially the couples in the background!
I'm glad the EMU Festival was a success!!
