Students learn how to line dance at Mozarkian

The spring 2007 Mozarkian was a change from the normal spring formal banquet at Southwest Baptist University. This year, the Student Government Association decided on a western theme. Students were advised to wear either formal or western wear. There were many different interpretations on western wear, including sophomores Jared Kathcart and Mark Roberts dressing as hillbillies with cut off t-shirts, holey jeans, freckles, bandanas and missing teeth.

Tokyo student reflects on Missouri experience

Senior Chie Komamiya will perform her senior cello recital Friday, April 27 in Meyer Recital Hall. Komamiya's recital is the result of eight years of practice, a six-year hiatus from the cello and thousands of dollars in international plane tickets. Komamiya comes to Southwest Baptist University from Tokyo, Japan.

Psi Chi, SCJS conduct food drive on campus

This spring, Southwest Baptist University's Behavioral Science Department is hosting a food drive for the Polk County Food Bank. Psi Chi and the Sociology / Criminal Justice Honor Society (SCJS) organized the project and encourage the whole campus to get involved.
