Campus Apartments hosted Southwest Baptist University's annual outdoor challenge Tuesday, May 1. The outdoor challenge was rained out last week, and most of its activities were rained out this week. But, despite the inclimate weather, the event carried on.
Iraq and Kuwait may seem far away and unfamiliar to many students at Southwest Baptist University, but several SBU students have served and are preparing to fight in the War on Terror in these countries. Senior Arthur Woolford joined the United States Army because joining the military was something he had always wanted to do, even growing up in Guyana, South America.
Southwest Baptist University held its third annual Relay For Life Friday, April 27. The event started at 7 p.m. Friday night and ended at 7 a.m. Saturday morning. The evening was filled with events and games as well as the walking relay. Planning for this year's Relay For Life began in September.
