"If I'm called to missions, I'm in the right spot," said Bell.
During her most recent visit during Enrollment Days, Bell was even more impressed by the SBU faculty.
"The faculty are so genuine and friendly," said Bell. "They are very God-oriented and Christ-centered."
Bell was also encouraged by the fact that SBU enriches others lives, not only the student body.
Like many incoming freshmen, Bell is excited about being challenged and stretched as she says goodbye to family and friends and embraces the new adventures of college life.
"I'll be able to spread my wings a little being two and a half hours away from home," said Bell. "But I'll still be able to go home some weekends."
Some of the things Bell looks forward to about college life are meeting new people, being in a classroom setting and having more freedom.
While she's here at SBU, Bell hopes to dabble in music and drama, but she is not limiting herself to any activities quite yet.
"I'm a pretty social person. I'm involved in a lot," said Bell. "Whatever is going on, I'll be there."
Incoming students will continue to register for classes through May 11.
Many will return to campus for Welcome Week 2007 August 16 to be officially initiated into the Bearcat family.
