2008 Woodie Awards
During every break from classes, the Southwest Baptist University Missions office provides students with mission opportunities. This summer the Missions office provided students with seven mission opportunities. The Alaska team left May 20 and returned June 9.
Every day at Southwest Baptist University, students see their professors in classes, their offices, the cafeteria and even at Wal-Mart. Outside of academia, however, students might come across their professor's name next to a piece of art or on the cover of a CD.
With the first week of fall semester finished, many new faces are becoming familiar. This does not only refer to new students at Southwest Baptist University but to new faculty members as well. Twelve new faculty members have joined SBU, with all but two teaching on the main campus.
