Bolivar welcomes new Chinese buffet restaurant

Lucky for you, Gallery editor Inga Locke and I tested the waters at Jasmine's buffet, and the water is fine. We were not disappointed by the all-you-can-eat $6.

Bean's holiday provides clean humor

"Mr. Bean's Holiday" may not please everyone, but for those who love the Three Stooges and Charlie Chaplin, this movie will take you back in time for unexpected roars of laughter. This light-hearted comedy preserves pure slapstick comedy and innocence. Those who do not like movies with little dialogue may not find this appealing, but for people who enjoy crazy facial expressions and witty situational humor, this movie is for you.

"Fracture" challenges viewers minds

"Fracture", released on DVD Aug 14, stars Anthony Hopkins as Theodore Crawford, a brilliant engineer who discovers his wife Jennifer (Embeth Davitz) having an affair, provoking him to shoot her, putting her into a coma. Crawford then follows with the perfect cover-up, making it impossible for District Attorney Willie Beachum (Ryan Gosling) to find justice, while his obsession with the case tears his life apart.
