Java Station offers variety of specialty coffees

When the Daily Grind (RIP) collapsed during the ice term last January, it left a void in the Bolivar economy as well as the hearts of many students of Southwest Baptist University. Morsels attempted to fill the void, but Morsel's limited hours of operation were not conducive to the average college student's schedule.

Monk and Neagle rock Missions Fest

After the missions presentations, students were able to enjoy a free concert from "Dub" Pierce and Monk and Neagle. Pike Auditorium was filled with a large group of students. The atmosphere of the concert helped students relax from life's worries. The stage was decorated with a sheet that had lights reflecting off of it.

Blunt amazes fans

Two years ago on Aug. 25, 2005, British Rock sensation James Blunt captured the hearts of Americans with the line "My Life is Brilliant". Listening to Blunt's raspy, calming and unmatchable voice sing to an untouchable angle in the song "You're Beautiful" left an imprint on minds.

Students display art in Driskell Gallery

'Push Pin' show to present unique pieces in month-long show

Every semester Driskell Art Gallery, located in Jester Learning and Performance Center, has a student art show featuring the work of current Southwest Baptist University art students. This semester's show is running from Sept. 17 until Oct. 12. All work submitted must have been made for a class at SBU, and each student is asked to submit at least two pieces.
