Teams concentrate on answering questions during the UAC Movie Trivia Night Thursday, Sept. 13 in Goodson Student Union. The first place team, Grandma's Dentures, won $25 gift cards to Wal-Mart. Winning second place was Team Walken. They received $10 gift cards to Wal-Mart. The next trivia night is scheduled for Oct. 25.

The first Movie Trivia Night sponsored by University Activities Council (UAC) livened up a typical Thursday evening for Southwest Baptist University students.
More than 100 students formed teams to use their entertainment knowledge to compete for Wal-Mart gift cards. There were 22 teams with two to four people on each.
The teams contended in eight different categories. They were actors/actresses, Disney films, quotes, Academy Awards, name the character, comedies, miscellaneous and AFI's Top 100. In each category there were between eight and 10 questions, with a total of 70 questions.
"I thought the quotes category was very difficult," said freshman Trent Pritchard.
Some of the questions were meant to challenge and separate the beginners from enthusiasts.
A team consisting of four freshmen reign as the winners. Grandma's Dentures was made up of Brad Aslin, Jonathan Keedy, Brian Meusborn and Camden Pulliam.
The winning team won $25 gift cards to Wal-Mart.
The second place team won $10 gift cards to Wal-Mart. This team was Team Walken consisting of freshman Tiffany Cleeton, sophomore Derek Monize and juniors Ben Gloor and Charles Whitaker.
"I thought the Movie Trivia Night went great," said UAC Campus Activities Chair junior Jared Kathcart. "There were more people there than expected, which is fantastic."
The trivia night is the first of many planned by UAC. If groups keep the same team throughout the separate trivia nights points will be given and whichever team has the most points will win a big prize.
The next trivia night is scheduled for Oct. 25 and will feature music trivia.
