Students select Homecoming royalty

In September, Southwest Baptist University students selected Homecoming princesses and queen candidates. Senior SBU students selected five senior girls as Homecoming queen candidates.
Kristen Blinzler is an elementary education major from Monett.
Crystal Chesnut is psychology major from Edgertotn.
Atefah Heivary is a sports management major from London, England.
Ashley Herod is an accounting major from Mena, Ark.
Rachel Kimrey is a public relations (communication) major from Buckner.
The junior class nominated Sarah Edwards to be their Homecoming princess. Edwards is an elementary education major from St. Louis.
The sophomore class elected Nikki Rummel to be their Homecoming princess. Rummel is an elementary education major from Willard.

Freshman Claire Dale was selected as princess for her class. Dale is a nursing major.
Two hundred seventy-two students voted for Homecoming queen through the University's Blackboard website Wednesday, Sept. 26.
The 2007 Homecoming queen will be announced during halftime of the Homecoming game Saturday Oct. 6.
The game is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Plaster Stadium on the University campus.
