Weekend Homecoming activities planned for students, alumni, faculty and staff

All week, Southwest Baptist University students, alumni, faculty and staff have been participating in Homecoming activities.
As Homecoming 2007 comes to a close, all are invited to participate in this weekend's festivities.
Honors Chapel
The 2007 Life Service Award and the Edwin Lightfoot Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented at Honors Chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5 in Pike Auditorium.
Homecoming Parade
The Homecoming parade ewill begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. Prizes for floats receiving first, second and third place will be awarded and winning floats will be displayed on the track at Plaster Stadium during the game. For a list of the parade route, see page 10 of The Omnibus.
Football Game
The SBU Bearcats will take on the Truman State University Bulldogs at the Homecoming football game at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at Plaster Stadium. The 2007 Homecoming coronation will be during halftime of the football game.
