The Bearcats boast the top two receivers in the MIAA in seniors Nick Smart and LaMarcus Windham. The man responsible for getting the ball to the duo is freshman quarterback Steve Gachette. Gachette ranks 1st in the MIAA in both passing yards per game and total offense and 7th in Division II in passing yards per game.
Defensively, the Bearcats rank 2nd in the conference in sacks per game with 17, just one behind Fort Hays. The leader of the pack for the defense is junior tackle Clint Carroz who is ranked third in the MIAA with four sacks.
