Her work clearly reflects part of the human story: the good, quiet, and gentle strength of ordinary people and nature.
In January 2008, Cox and Frost will be traveling to India along with Cox's mother, the Reverend Cathy Cox, and Frost's husband, Dr. Jim Frost.
They will spend time visiting Cox's birthplace in Southern India, hopefully meeting her birth parents, and attending a conference sponsored by the children's home where she spent the first months of her life.
They will also travel to central India to visit the Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission, a multi-faceted ministry to children at risk, where Frost's father served.
A place of rich beauty as well as desperate poverty, India will provide plenty of new stories and new ideas for these two artists to turn into watercolor, drawing, collage or construction.
The work of these two award-winning artists have appeared in galleries and shows in Southwest Missouri and can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
Both Frost and Cox have enjoyed speaking at social gatherings, seminars and retreats.
They love to encourage people to dare to trust God in difficulty and to move beyond their circumstances into a life of hope and creativity.
