Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is collecting clothing and food items throughout November to benefit others in the community.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes is teaming up with the Student Athletes Advisory Committee (SAAC) and will continue to collect food as well as clothing during the month of November.
Although this project began Oct. 6 and was going to last only one month, it was decided to extend it.
Throughout the month there will be a box at each athletic home game in which students can donate either non-perishable food or clothing.
Clothing is asked to be in good condition.
The food and clothing will be donated to others in the community.
"We have not decided who we are going to donate it to, as we want it to stay in Bolivar," said Vicky Bright, leader of this endeavor. "We are looking for a good place."
There will also be a box inside the lobby of the Meyer Wellness and Sports Center.
"FCA and SAAC thank everyone for their donation," said Bright. "Everyone is welcome to come to the FCA meetings at 8:30 p.m. every Monday night."
The meetings are located in the Goodson Student Union.
"FCA is an organization committed to equipping, empowering, and encouraging students to make a difference for Christ," said Bright. "It is not just for athletes- everyone is welcome."
Students can drop off donations at boxes located at every SBU home game.
The next home football game will be Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m.
Students can donate at home basketball games Nov. 20 and 26. The game on Nov. 20 starts at 8:00 p.m., and the game on Nov. 26 starts at 7:00 p.m.
