Jason Dunn of Hawk Nelson performs a tour to thank their fans. The Green T tour made a stop at The Foundry in Joplin on Sunday, March 30.

Punk band Hawk Nelson brought their Green T Tour to The Foundry in Joplin Sunday. Bands Run Kid Run, The Radiance Effect and Capital Lights joined Hawk Nelson.
The Foundry's atmosphere was very edgy, and it was a great venue for bands to play.
Many bands including Superchic[k], Kutless: The Acoustic Tour and Disciple are scheduled to play at The Foundry in the upcoming months.
The Green T Tour was a tour made to thank Hawk Nelson's fans for their support throughout the years.
Fans who purchased the "Green T" form the website were able to attend the pre-party where Hawk Nelson gave their fans a little taste of the new CD.
Band members Jason Dunn and Daniel Biro were on hand for a question and answer time, which took the majority of the time.
The new CD entitled "Hawk Nelson is My Friend" released April 1. The CD features their new single "Friend Like That."
The Radiance Effect took to the stage first. The band is made up of five guys from Springfield and creates a great blend of rock with each member bringing something different to the table.
The band recently signed a deal with Kikstart Records and have been touring.
Capital Lights [formerly After Eight] took to the stage next. The band from Tulsa has been on tour with bands such as Relient K, Falling Up, Anberlin and Disciple.
Capitol Lights pumped up the audience with great music and guitar stunts. The band has been together for five years and will release a new cd this summer.
Run Kid Run has been touring with Hawk Nelson the length of the tour. Run Kid Run brings excellent lyrics with their rock beats to create a dynamic effect.
The band will release their new album "Love @ the Core" with Tooth and Nail Records on Tuesday, April 29. During the concert the band played three of their new songs.
Hawk Nelson brought great effects and energy to the stage. New drummer Justin Benner felt in his environment as he played alongside bandmates Jonathan Steingard, Biro and Dunn.
Each song was packed full of intense energy. The band really knew how to get its fans pumped. Even the parents who brought their children were having a great time.
Hawk Nelson performed favorites such as "California," "Letters to the President," "Bring 'Em Out" and "Zero."
Fans who were not able to come to the pre-party got to hear many of the same songs played live on stage.
After the concert, all the bands were available for autographs and pictures.
Dunn really led in the effort to make sure all those that wanted an autograph got one. Not one teenager nor college student left without one.
