MIAA Player of the week

Southwest Baptist sophomore Alex Kacamakis has been named the MIAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
Kacamakis, ranked #1 in the region, had a hand in two wins for the 23rd-ranked Bearcats in their 7-2 win over No. 33 Northwest Missouri State last Monday (March 24).
He and teammate Marton Zsiga claimed an 8-5 win over Daniel Usieto and Luca Ariboni in No. 2 doubles.
He then defeated Jake Saulsbury in No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-2.
In an exhibition match Saturday, March 29 at Johnson County Community College, he had a hand in two wins of SBU's 8-1 decision over the Cavaliers.
Kacamakis, originally from Budapest, Hungary, is a graduate of Tancsics Mihaly Secondary School.
At the end of last season, Kacamakis was selected as the national ITA Division-II Rookie of the Year.
