Graduating seniors and non-returning students of Southwest Baptist University are encouraged to attend an informational meeting to learn how to save 30 percent on student loans.
There will be two meetings held in Davis Theater in Goodson Student Union. The first meeting is at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, and the second meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 12.
The meetings will cover the exit interview process that a student with loans must complete if they are not returning to SBU the following semester.
Students will learn how to avoid paying more money than they originally owed on student loans.
There will be other helpful information regarding loans at the meeting as well, such as how to have some or all of a Perkins Loan forgiven.
Seniors will be able to pick up graduation caps and gowns in the SBU Bookstore Monday, May, 5.
Graduating seniors also need to attend graduation rehearsal at 3 p.m. Friday, May 16 in Pike Auditorium.
