Southwest Baptist head basketball coach, Jeff Guiot has announced that Tomas Brock will attend the University and play for the Bearcats next semester.
Brock is a 6-1, 170 pound transfer from Missouri State, where he played in 20 games his freshman year. He was a four-year starter at Mount Vernon High School, leading his team to a 28-2 season his senior year. That season, Brock averaged over 24 points per contest, and earned recognition as all-state, all-Ozarks, all-district and all-conference.
"This is a great day for SBU basketball and the entire SBU family," said Guiot. "Tomas Brock is a leader, a strong Christian, and a proven winner. Not only is he a great addition for our team, he will fit right in with the mission of SBU. We feel he is the total package. We're very excited."
