Do you know the price of sugar? The documentary "The Price of Sugar" follows workers of sugar plantations in the Dominican Republic and exposes the human cost behind sugar production. The Dominican Republic has 250,000 acres of sugar plantations and sugar cane is one of its largest exports.

December events bring Christmas cheer

December is almost here and Southwest Baptist University will be hosting numerous concerts that students will want to remember. The annual Madrigal Christmas Dinner is an exciting and favorite part of ringing in the Christmas cheer. Southwest Baptist Chamber singers will be presenting the entertainment as guests are served to a catered meal.
