Raking leaves can be an unpleasant and daunting task. But for a group of Southwest Baptist University students, raking leaves was the perfect opportunity to serve the community of Bolivar. Psi Chi and the Sociology and Criminal Justice Society (SCJS) partnered together to participate in a "Rake and Run" Friday, Nov.
The Southwest Baptist University Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) team ranked in the top 20 schools at the IBM-sponsored Mid-Central Region "Battle of the Brains" competition. Teams from more than 135 universities competed Saturday, Nov. 1, in several regions across the country.
